GLOBAL - Pimco, Brockton Capital, Valad Europe, BNP Paribas Real Estate, HGA Capital, KBW

Pimco - Devin Chen has been hired as commercial real estate portfolio manager and executive vice-president. Pimco is best known for its bond investments but is seeking to expand its capabilities in the property asset class. Chen has 14 years of commercial real estate investment and finance experience, having worked most recently at JER Partners.

Brockton Capital - Jones Lang LaSalle's corporate finance manager director Tony Edgley is to leave at the end of the year to join opportunistic fund manager Brockton Capital after spending more than 30 years at JLL. Prem Mohan Rajas as also joined Brockton as chief financial officer after working at ISIS Equity Partners as chief financial officer.

Valad Europe - The real estate investment manager has appointed Robert Howe as head of UK real estate. Howe was previously head of UK investment for Valad.

BNP Paribas Real Estate - Two London West End specialists from real estate agency Allsop are to join in a bid to enhance BNP Paribas Real Estate's expertise in the London sub-market. Justin James joins to head up the West End investment team, while Tim Hugill will take up the position of investment director.

HGA Capital - Jens Müller is leaving the German real estate investment company, a subsidiary of HSH Real Estate. Müller built up the sales team at the firm.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW) - The boutique investment bank is expanding its real estate business with the appointment of Andrew Dietz and Simon Leopold as managing directors in its real estate investment banking group. Dietz has already joined the firm, while Leopold will join in January 2011.
