GLOBAL - CBRE Capital Partners, Henderson Global Investors, Jones Lang LaSalle, Prologis, CBRE Global Investors
CBRE Capital Partners - Ethan Penner, president and founder of CBRE's global real estate finance platform, has resigned. A spokesperson said it was a mutual decision and Penner had "wound down his day-to-day executive involvement in CBRE Capital Partners, effective March 31, in order to pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities". Frank Scavone has taken over leadership with Penner remaining as an advisor for the next six months.
Henderson Global Investors - Johan Åström will head up Henderson's new platform in Sweden, which will focus on the retail property sector. He joins from Nordic Real Estate Partners where he was the asset manager of a Swedish retail fund.
Jones Lang LaSalle - Timo Tschammler, currently country head of DTZ's German operation, is to move to JLL at the beginning of October. Tschammler, who will be managing director, will sit on the company's management board responsible for both office and industrial investment and leasing, currently overseen by Germany chief executive Frank Pörschke.
Prologis - Dennis de Vreede joins as a senior vice president and will take up the newly created role of European finance director with responsibility for the European finance team. De Vreede worked the past four years as chief financial officer at Redevco.
CBRE Global Investors - Ulrich Oppermann is joining as head of transactions in Germany, following five years as head of acquisitions for Germany and central and eastern Europe at UBS Global Asset Management.
