Strutt & Parker and Bayhead Advisers are to offer real estate finance advice jointly.
The two firms will advise investors on real estate investment and third-party debt and equity funding.
The agreement will extend to advisory mandates generated by Strutt & Parker’s brokerage and wealth management teams.
Andrew Wilson, founder of Bayhead Advisers, said: “Today’s debt and equity markets are far more complex and fragmented than those seen in previous cycles.
“As a consequence, there is a genuine need for specialist independent advisers to guide investors towards the various available funding solutions.”
Bayhead Advisers, created last year by Wilson and Nick Bull from Lloyds’s non-core real estate division, will work with Strutt & Parker’s commercial teams to offer debt sourcing, structuring and execution services to assist investors on the acquisition side.
Andy Martin, senior partner at Strutt & Parker, said: “Our firms view this collaboration as an attractive proposition for the increasing numbers of clients searching for combined property and financial solutions that are free from conflicts and provided by firms focusing on their respective specialisms.
“The complexity of deals being carried out in the markets has increased greatly.”
