Rubens Capital Partners has bought Dutch manager IBUS, boosting its assets under management to €1.5bn.

The Amsterdam-based institutional and private manager said the deal added around 25% to its existing AUM.

IBUS manages around €300m of assets for high net worth individuals, family offices and institutions.

Jan Arend de Vos van Steenwijk, Rubens’s founding partner, said IBUS was a perfect fit for the company.

Dutch residential assets, as well as multifamily assets in the US and retail in Germany, are among the company’s portfolio.

“The addition of the IBUS team will enable the RCP platform to serve a broader and more diversified client base better, while opening up new avenues for our fast-growing and ambitious company to expand outside the Netherlands,” he said.

“Existing IBUS clients will be serviced by a larger team with a stronger network.”
