Round Hill Capital has bought a German residential portfolio.
The firm has bought 114 units in Hamburg for a new strategy aimed at the residential sector in Germany.
Round Hill first entered the country in 2007 when it bought the Vitus Group.
Michael Bickford, founder and CEO of Round Hill Capital, said the firm continues to be active in the German market for other portfolios and assets with similar value characteristics.
“We believe the German residential market benefits from strong macro/micro-economic trends and favourable supply-demand fundamentals.”
The firm said it is focused on the acquisition of residential portfolios in 15 leading greater metropolitan areas in Germany, where it believes there are strong macro fundamentals and a favourable housing demand/supply dynamic.
