REAL ESTATE – Rodamco Europe has named Shell finance executive Peter van Rossum to take over from former chief financial officer John de Die.

It said van Rossum, 49, would join the company in April. He’s currently regional finance director for Shell Exploration and Production in Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

It said: “Peter van Rossum has 24 years of wide international expertise and experience in various finance positions at Shell.”

Last June Rodamco said de Die would step down as of September after just after a year as CFO as he wanted to “experience a better work/life balance”.

Meanwhile, Rodamco has sold a logistics warehouse complex called Rozalia Park in Budapest to Immorent for around €17m.

It said: “The divestment is fully in line with Rodamco Europe’s strategic sale of offices and other types of non-retail properties during the last years.”
