Stuttgart-based Züblin has begun the turnkey construction of New Office Airport Stuttgart on behalf of Flughafen Stuttgart (Stuttgart Airport).
The contract value of the office project is €95 mln.
New Office Airport Stuttgart building complex will become a highly visible gateway for the future Airport City being planned in the north-western part of the airport grounds.
The design by Berlin-based architectural firm Hascher Jehle features three rounded interlocking structures of different heights with a total gross floor area of about 58,000 m²2to be built on the 17,750 m2 site of the former P10 parking garage on Flughafenstraße.
The New Office project is is being built under a partnership arrangement with a guaranteed maximum price and upon completion will be leased almost entirely to management consulting firm Ernst & Young as its Germany headquarters.
Züblin is a subsidiary of the listed construction group Strabag SE.
