Zenzic Capital, the real estate credit and special situations investment manager, has appointed Chris Blowers as a senior advisor.

Across his career, Blowers has held senior positions at Royal Bank of Scotland, Allied Irish Bank and Investec Bank. He also co-founded Maslow Capital in 2009.

In March, Zenzic appointed Simon Brown as head of real estate development finance Lending and expanded the team earlier this month with two further hires.

Blowers and Brown have previously worked successfully together and the firm said that thei combined experience would help Zenzic source and structure a wide variety of transactions with capable and experienced developers across the capital stack.

Since its foundation 10 years ago in 2014, Zenzic has provided debt finance throughout the UK into a number of different sectors including logistics, student accommodation, residential, hotels and leisure.

In January, Zenzic launched a new £500 mln (€580 mln) UK purpose-built student accommodation strategy, which will invest in existing stock and develop new assets.
