Spanish clothing store chain Zara is to open an extended store at Echo Gallery in Kielce. With a surface area of more than 1,600 m2, the Polish store will be one of the biggest clothing stores at the centre. The extended Echo Gallery is scheduled to open in 2011.

'Zara is another brand that has joined the group of leaseholders at Echo Gallery. Commercialisation of the centre is proceeding smoothly and according to plan. We are now entering the last phase of leasing, which we are planning to finish in March next year,' said Mariusz Kowalczyk, Leasing director of Echo Investment in a press release.
Zara owns more than 1,200 stores in 72 countries and ranks among the fastest developing brands in the world.
At present Echo Gallery has a surface area of some 68,000 m2, 26,000 m2 of which constitutes a leasable area. Following the extension, the Gallery will have approximately 159,000 m2 of total area with the leasable area amounting to 66,000 m2.
The design of the Echo Gallery extension was created by Architectural Studio Detan of Kielce.
