Finnish construction firm YIT Corporation has unveiled plans for around €66 mln of new residential projects in Finland, all destined for the private rental sector.
YIT signed a pre-agreement with Ice Capital Housing Fund IV for the construction of around 300 rental apartments in Finnish metropolitan areas, to the tune of €56 mln.
Construction is slated to commence later this year, with most being completed by the end of 2019.
YIT also inked a deal worth €10 mln with the OP Vuokratuotto non-UCITS fund to build rental homes in Southern Finland. The project comprises approximately 70 apartments to be completed by summer 2019.
