Ukrainian real estate company XXI Century Investments said that it has 15 projects in the construction phase and is in negotiations with anchor tenants for its Kvadrat chain of shopping centres across Ukraine. In a project update published this week, the company said pre-lease agreements have been signed with a national chain of children's clothing and toy stores, one of the biggest cinema chains in Ukraine and a bowling operator for the Kvadrat-Myloslavska project in Kiev.

XXI Century said it is in the process of reviewing proposals from hypermarkets, bowling operators and other tenants for the Vyrlytsya and Lisova projects in Kiev and for Kvadrat shopping centres in Lviv, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Cherkasy, Donetsk, Sumy and Kharkiv.

Kvadrat-Perova shopping centre, the first hypermarket gallery format shopping and entertainment complex that XXI Century has developed, opened fully let in March. The company said Kvadrat-Perova is the largest shopping centre on the left bank of the Dnipro river in Kiev and was recently named 'Best Project of the Year' at the First National Commercial Property Awards in Kiev.

XXI Century, which is listed on AIM in London, ranked 87 in PropertyEU's recent listing of the top 100 listed property investors.
