UK-listed business space provider Workspace has secured planning permission for a mixed-use scheme in southeast London.

The new scheme will revolve around the redevelopment of the Faircharm estate at Creekside in Deptford (London SE8).

Workspace plans to redevelop two factory buildings which will provide 46,400 sq ft (4,300 m2) of space tailored to the needs of small businesses with a particular focus on creative industries. When completed, the scheme will also include 148 new residential units and create 350 jobs on site.

As part of the redevelopment, Workspace will create a new public, open space enabling the local community to access Deptford Creek.

Workspace is a FTSE250 company which provides business premises tailored to the needs of new and growing companies across London. It owns and manages over 100 properties in London.
