Flexible office specialist Workspace has appointed Graham Clemett as CEO with immediate effect, confirming an interim appointment made as of June 2019.
Clemett was invited to assume the top role at the London-focused office provider this summer, when former CEO Jamie Hopkins stepped down for 'personal reasons'.
Chairman Daniel Kitchen said: 'The board has appointed Graham as our new chief executive officer after a rigorous selection process involving both internal and external candidates. This process, combined with Graham's active leadership during the last few months and his track record within the business, gives the board confidence that he is the right person for this position.'
Clemett has been with Workspace for over 12 years, having joined the board as finance director in July 2007.
'Workspace is a leading player in one of UK property's most exciting sectors. We have a fantastic opportunity ahead of us, and I look forward to working closely with the talented Workspace team to ensure that we maintain our successful momentum,' Clemett said.
The firm said that a formal process to recruit a new chief financial officer will commence imminently, including external and internal candidates. In the meantime, the role is being covered by Workspace's finance team under Clemett's supervision.
