Construction work has begun on the Galeria Neptun retail mall in Starogard Gdanski, Poland.

The shopping centre is being developed on the former site of footwear manufacturer Neptun. The development will comprise 54,000 m2 in total, of which 25,000 m2 is designated for lease.

The developer of the project is the Galeria Neptun partnership, an entity controlled by businessmen Tomasz Pastwa and Mariusz Szwarc. The general contractor is Polish firm Dekpol.

Cushman & Wakefield is advising the developers on the scheme. The company’s retail department is the exclusive leasing agent for the development.
