Worboys appointed as CEO of Pinnacle

Pinnacle has announced the appointment of Ian Worboys as CEO. The operator and developer of distribution facilities in Europe had earlier strengthened its management team with James Riddell joining from Hines UK to take up the position of chief financial officer.

Worboys joins Pinnacle from real estate developer Panattoni where he led the business in Western Europe. He also spent a considerable part of his career at Gazeley, where he led their European development effort.

The appointment of Worboys follows that of Riddell in January this year. Pinnacle said Riddell would work closely alongside Worboys to ensure a 'measured and controlled expansion' of the company. Riddell was formerly group finance director of Hammerson and latterly finance director of Hines UK.
