Swedish housing company Willhem has bought two housing projects in Malmö from local residential developer Bonava for a total SEK 391 mln (€40 mln).
Both projects are located in Malmö’s southern region, in the Hyllie and Elinegård districts, with connections to Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen and Malmö city centre.
The Hyllie housing project comprises 101 apartments, while the Elinegård scheme includes 77 apartments and a supermarket. Construction will begin on both projects in early 2017.
Bonava was born out of Swedish construction company NCC and is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange. It develops and sells homes and neighbourhoods to consumers and investors in selected markets in Sweden, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Norway, St. Petersburg, Estonia and Latvia.
