Limehome, a European provider of digitalised designer apartments, has appointed Will Kingston as director of expansion for the UK.
The move reflects Limehome's commitment to expanding its presence beyond its current 11 European markets.
In his new role, Kingston will spearhead Limehome's market entry and growth in the UK, targeting major business and leisure travel destinations. The company plans to acquire between 20 and 200 properties, including commercial buildings, new constructions, and conversions, primarily in the hotel and serviced apartment sectors within the 30 largest UK cities.
Kingston previously worked in real estate at companies including Sonder and Marsh & Parsons.
Josef Vollmayr, co-founder and co-CEO of Limehome, said: ‘Will's expertise will be instrumental in building strategic partnerships and driving our growth in the UK. His extensive industry experience, extensive network and proven track record in the region make him a valuable asset as we continue to expand our presence across Europe in the coming years.’
Kingston added: ‘I am delighted to be taking on my new role at limehome, a company that is experiencing steady and consistent growth despite a difficult macroeconomic environment. The limehome concept has proven successful in diverse markets across Germany and Spain. For property owners and developers, limehome offers a low-risk solution that operates with a gross margin of 30% across the entire portfolio and offers flexible rental models.’
