Whitestar and Norfin invest €42m in Antas Green project in Porto

While construction work is scheduled for completion in September 2023, 50% of the 182 available units have already been sold.

Antas Green occupies a plot of 4,180 m2, with 182 housing units ranging from studio to four bedroom duplexes, around 16,300 m2 of gross private area and four commercial units.

The building will have a Leader A environmental certification, and the flats have an "Aqua+" water classification certificate.

The construction uses essentially local and certified materials in order to reduce CO2 emissions.

Marco Freire, CEO of Whitestar, said: ‘This is a project that reflects the diversity of Whitestar's business, since on the land, formerly a NPL, a new condominium will be born, thinking about the well-being and quality of life of families.’

Francisco Sottomayor, CEO of Norfin and head of real estate at Arrow Global in Portugal, added: ‘We are very pleased to have recently started the finishing phase, with the whole development taking shape as time goes by and deadlines are being met, which makes us very confident that it will be completed by the end of summer next year, as planned.’

Amenities include a 1,500 m2 private landscaped garden, a children's playground and outdoor equipment, and an indoor multipurpose area with a fully equipped pantry and changing rooms.

In addition, the project includes private balconies and terraces with garden view, individual storage rooms, condominium room with co-working space and parking with more than 300 spaces.

Besides the proximity to the Dragão football stadium, Antas Green is very close to supermarkets, traditional commerce, shopping centres (Alameda Shop and Spot, one of the largest in the city), medical clinics, ATMs, as well as a wide transport network.

The architectural project was developed by Barbosa & Guimarães Arquitetos, a Porto office renowned for public urban rehabilitation projects, while Réplica is in charge of sales.
