Danuta Grzywacz, who has been appointed country head for Poland, will lead the office, which is located at Rondo Onz 1.

Grzywacz will report directly to Hajo Engelke, managing director at Westbridge Advisory International. The new branch becomes Westbridge's second European location outside of Germany besides the main office in Zurich.

Grzywacz, a finance and management expert, began her career in 2002 as a senior sales specialist at Bank BPH in Poland before moving to Raiffeisen Bank Polska four years later, where she was responsible for large international corporate clients.

Positions at the largest polish bank PKO BP and at the service provider Econocom followed, where Grzywacz gained experience in digital transformation. In her most recent position as director at Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) in Warsaw, where she was jointly responsible for sales management and client growth, she expanded her interest in sustainability in the real estate sector.

Said Grzywacz: 'Our goal is to raise awareness of ESG in Poland and further develop Westbridge’s position as the leading European strategic and operating expert in this field. We aim to further expand our current partnerships in Poland while at the same time increasing our customer base to include key players in the commercial real estate sector.

'It is a great pleasure to be a part of a highly professional team with an unparalleled experience in ESG.'

'The office in Poland represents another milestone in our European growth story. The new location in Warsaw allows us to focus on one of our key markets and be even closer to our local customers,' says Hajo Engelke, managing director at Westbridge.

'We are delighted to have Danuta on board. With her experience and vast network, she is an outstanding addition to our team. Danuta will help us to further grow on the Polish market and support our customers as they work towards carbon neutrality,' Engelke concluded.
