Wereldhave triggers reshuffle with appointment of new COO

Dutch listed property firm Wereldhave has named Belinde Bakker as its new COO as one of three new appointments.

Bakker joined the firm in 2013 as a retail specialist and has spent the last three years as managing director of Wereldhave Netherlands, overseeing the company’s portfolio of 20 shopping centres.

She is succeeded in her former role by Erik Schmidt, who has 20 years’experience in the Netherlands and abroad, most recently as Netherlands sales and operations director with wholesaler Makro.

Wereldhave has also named Annerieke Lulofs as the group’s new director of HR, with effect from 1 April. Lulofs previously worked for Heineken and ABN Amro.
