Dutch listed retail specialist Wereldhave has sold two retail assets in Amersfoort, the Netherlands and Bordeaux, France for a total of €57 mln.
In its home country, the company sold the 19,700 m2 Emiclaer shopping centre to Urban Interest while in France it divested Les Passages Mériadeck, a 7,350 m2 retail area, to construction firm Vinci.
The two transactions were executed at a disposal price close to book value per the end of December 2020.
Wereldhave will use the proceeds of these transactions to repay debt, reducing its loan-to-value ratio by approximately one percentage point.
