REITS and property companies continue to sell assets as 2021 gets underway. British Land, Castellum, Aroundtown and Icade are rebalancing, raising cash or tidying up their portfolios.

Other sources of assets are: developers like Scandinavian Property Group or Ludger Inholte; and asset aggregators, such as Gatehouse Bank which sold more than 900 single family houses in one go, while Clarion Partners prepares to market its latest logistics portfolio.

Finally, corporates are raising cash from real estate with Rema selling a portfolio of its Danish supermarkets via a sale-and-leaseback, following Dutch food retailer Jumbo last week.
