Crédit Agricole Assurances continues to back French retail. Having invested in 2019 in a JV in five Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield malls valued then at €2 bn, the insurance group this week announced a €485 mln investment into a retail JV with Altarea.

US investor Kennedy Wilson and Singapore’s Suntec both saw value in new or spruced-up London offices, snapping up One Embassy Gardens and the Minster Building respectively.

In the finance market, two more CMBS transactions were launched and a third priced taking the number of securitisations this year so far to nine.
