PropertyEU has logged publicly reported newly completing loans at a rate of circa 30 per month in December and January, up more than 50% on 2020’s monthly average, despite the difficulties around refinancing operational assets.

After a slew of big investment transactions closed at the end of 2020, the size of deals closing where we have price information is reducing. The most active part of the market is in €60 mln - €150 mln assets and is driven by developers selling to domestic institutional buyers.
