The buyers were Henderson Park, LEG Immobilien, Home REIT, Oxford Properties and Barings.
Several new portfolios also went up for sale including a Garbe/UBS logistics fund in Germany and Ares rental residential assets in Spain.
It’s a busy time for new funds, with managers about to launch or raising capital for a range of investment strategies, including: debt, science parks, hospitality, retail parks, food retail, logistics, impact investing and value add.
In the lending market, Bank of America launched its fifth CMBS of a loan against UK property this year, this time with the underlying assets owned by Blackstone in its iQ student accommodation company.
