Sedimmo, a subsidiary of package delivery group Sedilog, has sold seven logistics sites, with a total lettable area of 100,000 m2, in the Tournai West Zoning industrial zone, Belgium, to WDP for €120 mln.
Together with Liège and Charleroi, Tournai forms one of the three logistics hotspots of Wallonia. Sedis Logistics will continue to lease the buildings for twelve years.
The acquisition was paid entirely with WDP shares, WDP said.
Savills Belux has exclusively advised on the structuring of the lease back and the contribution in kind of the assets. Loyens & Loeff was the legal and tax advisor of the vendor. Eubelius was the legal advisor of the buyer and Deloitte the tax advisor.
