Warehouse REIT, the UK REIT that invests in and manages e-commerce urban and last-mile industrial warehouse assets in the UK, has expanded the team with two new appointments.

March

March

Dan March has been appointed to the newly created role of head of Project Management while Connor Cockerill has joined as a data analyst.

As head of Project Management, March will be responsible for bringing forward Warehouse REIT’s current development pipeline, which totals close to 2.5 million sq ft (232,000 m2) and has an estimated GDV over £250 mln (€300 mln). He will be responsible for overseeing the redevelopment and refurbishment programme across its current 8.6 million sq ft portfolio and also for the procurement and management of larger capital expenditure projects, working alongside the asset management team, to enhance value and maximise income generation.

Based in Chester, March will report directly to managing director Andrew Bird and Investment director Paul Makin. Key to his role will be improving the portfolio’s sustainability credentials, employing the latest in building design and construction methods and working with occupiers to improve environmental performance, including EPC ratings.

He brings over 10 years of development and investment real estate experience. He joins Tilstone Partners from Chancerygate where, as a Project manager, in the last year alone he oversaw the delivery of over 500,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics development in various stages of the development cycle. Previously, he has held roles at Lambert Smith Hampton, Workman and Anderton Gables.

Cockerill’s role as data analyst will focus on assisting both the property and finance teams with the maintenance and further development of its property database and financial analysis. He will be based in London and reporting to Investment director Paul Makin.
