Anglo-German open-ended fund Warburg-Henderson KAG has acquired four new warehouse properties in France, Germany, Italy and Spain for a total of EUR 115 mln. The properties are intended for Warburg-Henderson's Pan-Europa Fonds Number 1 in a forward-funding deal with Gazeley, the property division of shopping centre chain Asda.

The largest warehouse (76,300 m2) is in the French city of Amiens. The second largest (42,650 m2) is in Madrid and is leased to Excel, Commercial Property News reported. The other two, 7,210 m2 and 14,300 m2 respectively, are in Mannheim, Germany and Veronella in Italy.
Warburg-Henderson is based in Hamburg and was founded as a joint venture between Hamburg's private bank M.M.Warburg & CO and London-based multi asset manager Henderson Global Investors in April 2001.
