The IntReal International Real Estate platform is structured along the lines of a German open-ended fund and will be managed by Warburg Henderson. IntReal International Real Estate has received its first commitment totalling EUR 500 mln from the newly-created Europa Logistik fund managed by Hamburgische Immobilien Handlung (HIH).
Erik Marienfeld, managing director of HIH, said that the decision to invest along with Warburg Henderson was a result of the long and successful cooperation with the German investor over the years.
HIH manages real estate worth about EUR 3 bn for private and institutional investors.
