Swedish listed property group Wallenstam has sold six commercial buildings in Gothenburg to Platzer Fastigheter, another listed company, for SEK 950 mln (EUR 105 mln). The deal was funded with SEK 150 mln worth of newly issued Platzer shares which will lift Wallenstam's stake in the Gothenburg-based company to around 9%.

The properties are Mölndal, Mölndal Bosgården, Gothenburg Bagaregården, Byfogdegatan, Gamlestadsvägen and Härryda Solsten. They comprise a total of 67,400 m2 of space.
'This transaction provides us additional funding for new construction,' said Hans Wallenstam, president of Wallenstam.
'The acquired assets complement our existing portfolio and expand our presence in the commercial property market in the Gothenburg area,' added PG Persson, president of Platzer.
