Property investment and development company Wainbridge Holdings has strengthened its team in London with the appointment of Jonathan Hardie as head of asset management and Ge Xu as an analyst. Jay Patel has been promoted to vice president.

Property investment and development company Wainbridge Holdings has strengthened its team in London with the appointment of Jonathan Hardie as head of asset management and Ge Xu as an analyst. Jay Patel has been promoted to vice president.

Hardie brings over 25 years of experience in the asset management and development fields of the UK real estate industry, having previously held positions at Westbrook Partners, Haslemere Estates and MEPC. In his new role as head of asset management, Hardie will help to grow the company's asset management business both for assets within the Wainbridge Global Opportunity London Fund but also third-party mandates.

Xu joins from IPD, where she was a research analyst. She will work alongside Peter Shacalis, focusing on the underwriting of potential investments across the Wainbridge Group.

Patel has worked at Wainbridge since May 2010 and played a key role in sourcing and underwriting acquisitions. He previously held positions in real estate-focused mergers and acquisition teams at Eurohypo and KPMG.
