Via Outlets, the owner operator of 11 premium fashion outlets across Europe, has signalled readiness for a new growth phase via a hire.
The company, owned 100% by Dutch pension fund asset manager APG, said Thierry Seang has joined as investment director from private equity group, Maple Knoll Capital, to further its ‘bold growth strategy'.
Seang will be responsible for defining Via Outlets' ‘inorganic’ growth strategy across Europe and executing forthcoming real estate transactions, it added.
CEO Otto Ambagtsheer is currently on a drive to grow the firm by what it calls its three ‘Rs’ approach of remerchandising, remodelling and remarketing to boost assets.
But it is also pursuing inorganic growth ambitions through a ‘selective approach’ to evaluating further acquisitions and developments using the same formula.
