The transaction volume was not disclosed.

'With the acquisition of project Alpha we give further substance to the expansion and improvement of our portfolio,' commented Pieter Knauff, director acquisitions at Vesteda.

'The project is part of the development plan to transform the former business area Lammenschansdriehoek into an attractive residential area with a high-quality and vibrant urban atmosphere. We will be able to position these relatively spacious homes, with an excellent price-quality ratio, in the mid-rental segment of the liberalised rental sector,' Knuaff added.

The centrally located scheme is positioned near the railway station and is slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2018.
