Veris, the Irish integrated property services group, has agreed to pay EUR 14 mln to acquire Orange Environmental Building Services and Orange Support Services, a group of facilities management companies headquartered in Hampshire, England.
Orange provides facilities management solutions to a range of clients, including UK government agencies, multinationals and financial institutions. It is active across the UK and Ireland, with a particularly strong presence in the South of England.
Veris said Orange would be integrated into Vector, its facilities management division, under the supervision of Martin McMahon, a Veris executive director who was recently named managing director of the property management division.
'This is Veris' first UK acquisition and represents a significant step in our development as an integrated property services group, building on our existing property management, facilities management and moving and storage divisions in Ireland and the UK,' Veris chief executive officer Bernard Farrell said in a statement.
