European logistics developer-investor Verdion said it is investing SEK 200 mln (€21 mln) in the development of a new facility at its Verdion Logistics Park Malmö in Staffanstorp, Sweden.
The company, which bought the site directly from the local municipality, has secured a 27,000 m2 letting of the site from an unnamed German car and motorcycle manufacturer.
The building permit for the project is already in place and the built to suit project is expected to be delivered by May 2017.
Verdion, founded abd led by CEO Michael Hughes in 2010, has a European development pipeline of 930,000 m2 valued at around €600 mln.
