Pan-European logistics real estate specialist Verdion has completed its second new development in Denmark this year – a €30 million state-of-the-art new logistics asset in the Jutland city of Vejle.
The property forms part of Verdion’s first fund, VELF 1, which reached final close in 2020. It is now fully invested and, together with debt, has deployed €310 mln on the acquisition and enhancement of logistics assets across Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
Capital raising for VELF 2 continues, targeting €400 mln.
The 26,000 m2 asset in Denmark was developed closely with new occupier System Transport.
System Transport has invested significantly in the building fit-out, including a new large, market-leading Autostore robotics system and Denmark's largest textile tunnel press for preparing hanging garments supporting its clothing brand clients.
