The logistics facility, valued at £100 mln (€112 mln), is located at iPort, Verdion's 557,000 m2 rail-freight interchange in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

The bespoke warehouse is 500 metres long - the size equivalent of 14 football pitches. The interior fit-out design and specification is unique to Amazon.

John Clements, European development director at Verdion, commented: 'We are delighted to have completed on schedule, less than 12 months after signing the deal with Amazon - extremely quick for such a large and complex project.'

Gent Visick, CBRE and Colliers are letting agents for iPort.
