Logistics developer-investor Verdion has appointed Gent Visick, CBRE and C&W as letting agents for iPort, its £400 mln Inland Port project in Rossington near Doncaster, marking the official start of marketing for one of the UK’s largest logistics developments.
Inland Port (iPort) is a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) which will deliver over 6 million sq ft (570,000 m2) of Grade A logistics warehousing.
Verdion, with backing from its funding partner the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), is developing the scheme on a 700 acre (283 hectare) site in Rossington, Doncaster.
The current proposals are for six large buildings from 1 million sq ft, each with high bay facilities of up to 35 metres permitted. The first buildings will be available for occupation from Q1 2015.
