Pan-European logistics real estate specialist Verdion has appointed George Johnstone as investment manager based at its London HQ.
Johnstone will collaborate closely with Verdion’s investment and asset management teams across Europe to cover both fund and separate account mandates.
In his capacity, he will oversee all aspects of portfolio and investment management and ensure best practices and processes are applied across the portfolio.
Johnstone joins from privately held multisector real estate company Dominvs Group, where he specialised in assisting deal origination and execution on commercial real estate and development prospects.
Prior to that, he worked for Escala Partners and Beulah Capital in Australia.
Simon Walter, director of asset management at Verdion, said: ‘With a portfolio now standing at €2.6 bn and equity raising for our second fund underway, Verdion’s investment and asset management activity – and requirements – continue to increase. George will provide further support for the team, working across all our European markets and taking a portfolio-wide view on governance and other key areas of best practice.’
