Tom de Witte, CFO of Vastned, is to leave the listed Dutch retail company.
The decision has been made by ‘the supervisory board in close consultation with Tom de Witte’, the company said. De Witte has served as CFO for 11 years and has an end date of 1 January 2015. The company is currently looking for a replacement.
‘Considering Tom’s long tenure, the supervisory board has decided it is time for a change,’ said chairman Wouter Kolff.
‘During the past 11 years I have had the pleasure of working on building a transparent company with a clear strategy and a solid financial structure,’ said De Witte.
His severance payment of 1.5 times his base salary is higher than demanded by the Dutch Corporate Governance Code.
