CBRE Global Investors has appointed Sophie van Oosterom as CEO EMEA, and promoted Jeremy Plummer to global chief investment officer.
Van Oosterom, who succeeds Plummer in her new role, will also continue in her position of EMEA chief investment officer.

Ferguson added that Van Oosterom 'has broad real estate experience and a solid track record of investment performance and client outcomes'.
Van Oosterom has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and joined the company in 2013 as head of EMEA special programmes. She was appointed CIO of the EMEA business in 2015. She is also a member of the global executive committee and global investment committee. Before joining CBRE Global Investors Van Oosterom was a managing director and European head of asset management of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners' private equity funds.
Plummer began his real estate career in 1988 and has served in an international capacity in all roles. He joined CBRE Global Investors in June 2006 when CBRE Global Investors acquired Oxford Property Consultants (OPC), which he co-founded. He was appointed CEO of CBRE Global Investors EMEA business in 2016 and is a member of the global executive committee.
The appointments are pending regulatory approvals.
