Values Property Solutions, a subsidiary of German asset manager Values Real Estate, has appointed Michael Ringsgwandl as managing director.
Ringsgwandl has been property manager of Values Real Estate's commercial property portfolio through its Values Property Solutions arm since 2016. He has more than ten years of professional experience in the field of real estate management, during which time he also acquired the qualification of real estate specialist (IHK).
Today, Values Property Solutions primarily looks after the commercial properties that Values Real Estate purchases as part of its mandates for institutional investors or together with family offices.
Dr. Carsten Fischer, CEO and co-founder of the Values Real Estate group of companies, said: 'In the past six months alone, we have purchased properties worth almost €1 bn for institutional investors. We are therefore very happy that we have been able to win Michael Ringsgwandl, an experienced manager who has trusted us for years, for the management of our subsidiary Values Property Solutions.'
Ringsgwandl will lead Values Property Solutions together with Holger Hörnig. Ringsgwandl will be responsible for the operational business of commercial real estate, which in recent months has added additional asset classes, such as logistics properties and medical centres, in addition to classic inner-city commercial buildings and office properties.
Hörnig, who was appointed to the management board in March 2018, is responsible for the areas of organizational development, human resources, finances and the business area of residential property management.
