Valad, the European multi-let real estate investment manager, has secured a new letting at Vijzelweg 27, Waalwijk, on 2,533 m2 of predominantly industrial space. The 10-year lease with an annual rental value of EUR 110,000 was signed by Trisco, the wholesale marketing material manufacturer.
Situated north of Waalwijk and near the A59 motorway in the south of the Netherlands, Vijzelweg 27 has excellent transport links with the rest of the Benelux region. Following a refurbishment earlier in the year, the 8,553-m2 building is now nearly fully let, with Trisco joining existing tenant RAFET Stoffeerderij.
Mark McLaughlin, Valad's head of Benelux, commented: 'We are delighted to have signed Trisco as a new tenant at Vijzelweg 27. To have the building almost fully let so soon after its refurbishment is good news and demonstrates the success of our active asset management strategy.'
Valad has a team of 20 working in the Benelux region, out of offices in Amsterdam and Luxembourg, who manage over EUR 350 mln of funds, invested in 58 assets with nearly 900 tenants.
RSP Makelaars advised Valad on the letting.
