Asset manager Valad Europe has been appointed by Tide Finance to manage the Landmark Portfolio in the Netherlands.

The portfolio comprises 13 office assets totalling 60,200 m2, located predominantly in the western Randstad conurbation. Assets include a 13,500 m2 property close to Amstel railway station in Amsterdam, an 8,000 m2 building in the southeast of the Dutch capital and a 2,600 m2 office building in Groningen in the north of the Netherlands.

Valad said it will focus on creating value in the portfolio over the course of the five-year mandate by increasing rental income through asset management initiatives.

Valad Europe manages more than €4.3 bn of assets in Europe across 16 funds and mandates. The company has a team of 24 in the Benelux region, working out of offices in Amsterdam and Luxembourg, managing around €420 mln of funds.
