MSA Auer renewed its lease on around 28,800 m2 for a further 10 years. Separately, the occupancy of the Tax Authority of Berlin-Neukölln was secured on 11,000 m2 of space, also for a further 10 years. Both organisations are long-term tenants of the site.
BIM Berliner Immobilienmanagement, Berlin’s state property manager, represented the tenant on this transaction.
Thiemannstraße 1 is a complex of 15 buildings providing office, industrial, retail and leisure space to around 13 occupiers in Berlin-Neukölln, adjacent to the Neuköllner Schiffsfahrtskanal and nearby Treptower Park.
With a team of 37 in Germany, operating out of offices in Berlin, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Munich, Valad Europe manages approximately €600 mln of assets and 720 tenants, occupying approximately 1.3 million m2 of space in Germany.
