Telecommunications concern MACH moves this week into the first building to be completed at Campus Contern in Luxembourg, a sustainable development project by Valad Property Group and Valeres Project Developments. The complex totals nearly 25,000 m2.

Mark McLaughlin, managing director of Valad Benelux, said: 'We are proud that we are able to develop a project of this size in the current market. The fact that the first office building was already prelet before delivery is a sign of the project's success. That's why we will continue to develop and we expect to deliver the second building in September.'

The lease represents the biggest leasing deal in Luxembourg in Q1 2009.

Valad Property Group is a fund and asset manager in multi-let office and industrial property. The company has an international network comprising 30 local branches in 17 countries with a combined real estate portfolio of EUR 6 bn.
