Charles Baigler, head of private equity real estate acquisitions at Swiss group Pictet, has told contacts he has been appointed head of Europe at US logistics specialist, Bridge Industrial.
Bridge Industrial has investments both in the US and the UK. In the UK, assets include Bridge Point Weybridge, Bridge Point Croydon, Barking, Point Enterprise East, Southall, and Uxbridge – all in Greater London.
The company’s strategy is to focus on core infill situations. It was founded in 2000. CEO of the company is Steve Poulos.
Baigler has joined from Pictet having spent over four years at the company and prior to that nearly five years at CBRE IM. He started his career at Catalyst Capital and Rockspring.
Bridge Industrial made its debut UK acquisition in November 2020 via an existing warehouse in Southall in north-west London and announced the deal in May 2021.
In February 2023, the company appointed Tim Bradshaw from Oxenwood Real Estate as senior vice president of construction and development in the UK to work alongside Paul Hanley.
