Union Investment Real Estate has acquired the third phase of the Alberga Business Park close to Helsinki.

The investment volume came to SEK 190 mln (€21 mln).

The German fund manager is already the owner of the first two phases of the business park.

The sustainable office park located in Espoo in the Helsinki area is being developed in five stages by NCC Property Development,

The third phase comprises 5,500 m2 of leasable commercial space together with nearly 200 parking spaces. The building was completed in June 2013 and is 82% let. NCC is responsible for the leasing of the remaining vacant commercial space for a period of three years.

Alberga Business Park will encompass five phases, amounting to 30,000 m2 of leasable commercial space and will have capacity for nearly 2,000 workplaces and 700 parking spaces.

NCC is aiming to secure a rating of Very Good according to the BREEAM environmental certification system for the scheme.
