Austrian listed property firm CA Immo has signed another lease for its Skygarden office building in Arnulfpark, Munich, and secured Unicredit's HypoVereinsbank as lender to the scheme.

IT consultancy Platinion, a subsidiary of the Boston Consulting Group, has signed up for around 1,450 m2 in the scheme from autumn 2012. The deal lifts the occupancy rate of the recently completed office tower to 76%. Unicredit has granted a EUR 65 mln financing facility for the complex.

'We are proud to have financed this property, which is not only attractive, but innovative too. There is no doubt that Green Buildings will come to corner more of the market, not least because of rising energy prices,' said Maria-Teresa Dreo, director of Real Estate Germany at HypoVereinsbank.

Designed by architect Bothe Richter Teherani (BRT), the Skygarden office building is located next to Munich’s Hackerbrücke. Other tenants of the building, which provides a total of 34,000 m2, include auditors and consultants PwC, IMS Health & Co. and legal practice Dechert.
