Banking group Unicredit has leased the new Filadelfie building in the BB Centrum complex, Prague in one of the largest transactions of its kind in the Czech Republic in recent years. The leasing deal was arranged by global real estate adviser DTZ in a process that took two-and-a-half years.

Banking group Unicredit has leased the new Filadelfie building in the BB Centrum complex, Prague in one of the largest transactions of its kind in the Czech Republic in recent years. The leasing deal was arranged by global real estate adviser DTZ in a process that took two-and-a-half years.

Filadelfie comprises 30,500 m2 gross lettable area (GLA) over 17 floors. The building will house Unicredit Bank as well as a number of companies in the group as part of a consolidation and centralization programme. Starting autumn 2011, the Unicedit Group will use14 floors of the administrative part and also retail spaces, where it will create a bank branch. In total 1,500 employees of the companies in the Unicredit group will work in the Filadelfie.

Unicredit Group will occupy the BB Centrum alongside other major tenants such as Telefónica, Microsoft, the ÈEZ Group, and Hewlett-Packard.
